My wife and I have always planned on retiring to sunny Florida. We are still quite a few years away from retirement, but now that the market is great for buyers we are thinking about buying Tampa real estate for now and for our retirement years. We figure it makes a lot more sense to buy some thing now and use it for vacations until we are ready to move into it full time, rather than wait until prices and mortgage rates go up and then buy. It will also be great to be able to get ourselves settled in a bit now before we move down there full-time.
