Researching My Options for a Camping Tent that is Lightweight

June 29th, 2009 . by admin

Last month a friend of mine invited me to go camping with his family. I was hesitant at first because I had never been camping before. Well, I have to say that I had a great time and I am hooked! I have been researching my options for a lightweight camping tent. When I went with my friend, we all used his tent. However, I would like to do some camping on my own and have a smaller, lighter tent that would be easy for me to carry. I have never bought a tent before, so I would like to do my homework first.

Cheap Travel Insurance: The Last Best Step

June 20th, 2009 . by admin

When I first began traveling I made all of the usual mistakes.  I failed to plan, over packed, and never considered what I would do if I were far from home with no luggage.  Since I have begun to travel on business I’ve learned to overcome all of these problems.  Some things I picked up from travel-savvy friends and others I learned by harsh experience.  Take the time I arrived in London five hours  before I was to appear at a formal event, but had no luggage.  Thanks to a well-dressed friend I dodged that bullet.  But these days  I’ve learned to inventory my well-packed suitcases, check my itinerary, and buy cheap travel insurance.  More than once that last  step has turned out to be my best.

Nothing Compares To Sedona

May 22nd, 2009 . by admin

After you have visited Sedona, Arizona for any length of time, any other destination inside of Arizona will seem lacking. Well, that was the case for me anyway. We had decided on an arizona resort in Sedona for a 2 week vacation. We thought there would be plenty to do there and then we could always do trips here and there but Sedona was a nice centered place. Each time we left the city, for example going to the Grand Canyon, even seemed to pale in comparison to the beautiful city of Sedona. Just one look or one visit to the city will make everything else pale.

Good Tropical Islands

May 21st, 2009 . by admin

There are many good tropical islands in the world. When I look for a tropical islands, I want there to be a few people there, big beaches, warm weather, coral reefs to go diving, and great food. That may sound like a lot to expect from an island but most tropical islands in the world offer these things. The hardest part is to find good tropical islands that off all of these things but don’t have a lot of people. The really good islands usually have a lot of people there. People like to go where there are good things.  If you can find a good island in the world that doesn’t have a lot of people on it, you have truly found one of the best tropical islands in the world.

Enjoy a Timeshare

May 19th, 2009 . by admin

Going on a vacation is really one of the perks that I am looking forward to. I am, I can say, a hard working person. It is not really something that I am bragging about but then it feels also good to acknowledge that. It is sometimes a problem though, when I feel that I should stop and get some chilling time, sans vacations. And since it is very expensive to go on vacation all the time, I just bought a timeshare.  Yes, it is very much like the biggest gift I ever gave my self. The timeshare is a part ownership to a resort in South America, where the weather is too good for some sun bathing and swimming. Only the timeshare gives me a week of hassle free accommodation each year.

Needing Help To Move

May 18th, 2009 . by admin

I have been planning on moving for a while now, but I never quite figured out how everything would be done. I knew that I would need help of some sort to get all of my belongings to my new home, but I do not know anyone that could take time out of their busy schedule to do that. I am afraid of driving such a long distance on my own, and think that flying would be better for me. That means that I may have to look through national moving companies and have them drive the rest of my stuff over.

Vacationing at the Beginning

May 11th, 2009 . by admin

A few years ago my daughter was learning about the Mayflower and how our country started in history.  She was very excited about learning it all, so I decided that our next vacation was going to be in Virginia, the place where our country began.  I wanted to stay in a rental home so that we would be more comfortable so I called a few rental management companies and we chose the right house for us.  We had such a great time and my daughter was able to put all that learned into perspective when we walked around and saw the people all dressed up, living life the way they used to at the beginning.

Taking a Vacation Someplace Exotic

May 5th, 2009 . by admin

When my husband started talking about taking a great vacation, I didn’t know he meant one that was in another country.  He had this friend that went to this place to party, but when we looked into it, we found that there was so much more to do there other than party.  We looked into some apartments in magaluf so that we didn’t have to worry about hotels, and then we looked into the golf, tennis and jet skiing.  We love water sports and my husband is getting me started with golfing, so I really would love to golf in someplace exotic.  I think this vacation is going to be the best.

Alta hotel Costa Rica

April 7th, 2009 . by admin

I was looking for a small, cozy and intimate Costa Rica luxury hotel for a trip with my partner; it was our fifth anniversary so I needed to make sure that we would spend a wonderful time in a lovely environment. I found the Alta hotel in San Jose, which features just twenty three guestrooms. It seemed perfect for my purpose and thankfully I was not failed. It is a beautiful small hotel which offers a breathtaking view to the surrounding hills and mountains of the city, as well as direct and easy access to the famous volcano and valleys.
