Children aren’t getting enough water, according to a host of authorities. It’s no simply that they are not supplied enough- school regulations state that there must be free and accessible water about the premises at all times- it’s that they’re not encouraged to drink water by those in charge. Every school should have a water cooler installed in areas that children will want to gather ie. not a toilet area. It may even be beneficial to introduce coolers to the classroom. I would have loved having a water cooler in my classroom way back in the early 90s. how sophisticated!
