In N Carolina the state allows of 130 personalised number plates with backgrounds pldeging the drivers allegiance to whichever group they choose. These include motorcyle clubs. dance clubs and even fox hunters. Now there is a proposal to allow Pro life to have their own approved licence plate. These plates cost an additional $30 of which a proportion goes to the cause displayed on the plates. Approximately 400,000 of the states 8 million cars carry these types of licence plates. The new application has not been accepted though and the case may have to go to the supreme court to be decided.
