However, after my daughter completed a humanitarian report on the diamond trade, I have a different opinion. Gem and precious metal mining not only is devastating to the environment, but also raises humanitarian concerns. To now be investing in beautiful socially responsible jewelry is quite rewarding. I do believe the trend is towards socially responsible jewelry in the years to come. I am a huge fan of the elegant designs and extraordinary craftsmanship. I am also a fan of supporting humanitarian and environmental causes.
